1. Is it possible for people over 25 to grow taller?

2. Does playing basketball really help you grow taller?
Scientifically, no evidence shows basketball directly stimulates bone lengthening. Height is ~60–80% genetic, with nutrition, sleep, and exercise influencing how much of that genetic potential is realized.
Three indirect benefits of basketball:
- Promotes growth hormone secretion: Moderate-to-high intensity exercise (heart rate 60–80% of max) stimulates the pituitary to release growth hormone. Basketball's running and jumping fall into this range, especially important for adolescents during growth spurts.
